Residents fled the inferno with just the clothes on their backs on Thursday night.

The victim, named locally as Claire McFadyen, tragically died at the scene on Belmont Road.

Six fire engines and a height appliance were in attendance, which was "well-developed" by the time crews arrived to put it out. Sadly, a 38-year-old woman died at the scene.
