Police Scotland received reports of an armed male on the run in Kirkcaldy.

Kasey Mullen, 18, was working late at Vi.Vacious hair and beauty bar in Kirkcaldy, Fife, when she spotted the group of four youngsters on the street outside, who later launched an attack on the salon.

Mr Bayoh died after the events in Hayfield Road, Kirkcaldy, Fife.

Emergency crews attended the property on Dollar Crescent, Kirkcaldy this morning but the man had passed away.

PC Daniel Gibson told the Sheku Bayoh Inquiry that he had seen officers struggling with the 31-year-old before he died.

It emerged at the hearing that the same officer attended a wedding with Mr Bayoh two years before his death in 2015.

The 27-year-old was attacked on Charlotte Street in Kirkcaldy, Fife, close to the town's waterfront, shortly after 11pm on May 28.
