Car flips onto roof in late-night crash on Scots country road

A car has flipped onto its roof in a one-car crash on a Scots country road.

Emergency services raced to Checkbar Road in Kirkcaldy, Fife at 10.20pm on Thursday, May 19.

Images from the scene show the car overturned on the narrow road.

Two men are seen standing on the verge beside the flipped motor, with other drivers attempting to navigate their way past the crash.

Debris from the smashed bonnet is also pictured scattered across the ground.

Police say there were no injuries as a result of the incident.

A spokesperson said; “At 10.20pm on Thursday, May 19, police were called to Checkbar Road, Kirkcaldy, following a report of a one-car road crash.

"The vehicle was removed and no injuries were reported.”
