North Little Rock Man Faces Class A Felony Over $245,401 in Medicaid Claims for Services Allegedly Never Provided

A North Little Rock man has been charged with Medicaid fraud after state investigators alleged he billed Arkansas Medicaid more than $245,000 for services that were never provided. Marcus Jones, 31, was charged on September 30 with Medicaid fraud, a Class A felony, the Arkansas Attorney General's office announced on October 5.

According to the release, Jones allegedly submitted claims to Medicaid totaling $245,401.60 for services that were not rendered and billed for excessive hours in a day. The charge is an allegation. Jones has not been convicted and is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
