Young man found dead in Scots town as cops probe 'unexplained' death

A young man has been found dead at a home in Fife.

Officers descended on Dollar Crescent in Kirkcaldy just before 11am on Monday, June 6.

The body of a 22-year-old man was discovered at a property on the street.

There was a police presence on Dollar Crescent this morning (Fife Jammer Locations)

Police Scotland have confirmed that an investigation is underway into the man's death.

The circumstances around his passing are currently unknown and his death is being treated as unexplained.

The Record understands that cops were knocking on neighbours' doors to ask if they had seen or heard anything through the night.

Photos taken at the scene shows two ambulances parked on the street, while a police officer stands guard at a door.

A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “Officers attended at an address in Dollar Crescent, Kirkcaldy, around 10.45am on Monday, 6 June, 2022 following the sudden death of a 22-year-old man.

"The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
