A police officer found a knife in grass near where Sheku Bayoh was being restrained, an inquiry into his death heard today.
Giving evidence at the enquiry in Edinburgh earlier today, Pc James McDonough claimed he had "taken a step back" from officers who were administering first aid to Mr Bayoh after he became unconscious on the morning of May, 3 2015.
Mr Bayoh died after the events in Hayfield Road, Kirkcaldy, Fife.
