Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s decision to slash foreign aid from 0.5% to 0.3% of GDP has raised eyebrows within his own party.

The Atlanta Fed’s GDP tracker now indicates the economy is headed for a 1.5% contraction in the first quarter, after showing 2.3% growth just days earlier.

It is unclear what the Prime Minister is using to claim that the increase would be £13.4 billion per year.
