Lectron is producing 12,000 NACS to CCS adapters per week, the company said on Tuesday. The adapters will allow non-Tesla EV owners access to more than 2,400 Tesla Supercharger stations in the U.S. that house more than 28,400 charging ports, as per the latest figures from the Alternative Fuels Data Center.  

Ford has started shipping a new charging adapter for its customers, which will allow them to plug in their electric cars at nearly 18,000 Tesla Superchargers across the U.S. That's in addition to the tens of thousands of non-Tesla charging stations in the country.
