BENGALURU: Leading triple jumper Praveen Chitravel and long jumpers Jeswin Aldrin and M Sreeshankar will be more in focus behind Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra and steeplechaser Avinash Sable as the Indian team for the World Athletics Championships was announced on Tuesday.

Avinash Sable, a 3000m steeplechaser qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics on July 16 after finishing 6th in a Silesia Diamond League meet. He clocked 8:11.63, just outside his national record, but exceeding the qualifying mark of 8:15.00.
