LUCKNOW: Amidst speculations around who would be the next Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party chief, the party is mulling to shift to west UP in search of a new chief. Though, nothing is final until now, the party think-tank is of the opinion that this time a chief could be from the west UP region.
This, sources said, is final subject to some good option coming before the central leadership from any other region. The party leaders as of now are of the opinion that since the prominent leaders of the BJP, including chief minister Yogi Adityanath and both deputy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, are from central and eastern UP regions, a BJP chief from west UP would be a balancing act.
