- Pattinson portrays Scytale, a shapeshifting Bene Tleilaxu Face Dancer and master manipulator central to a conspiracy against Emperor Paul Atreides, played again by Timothée Chalamet.
- Possessing specialist skills in genetic engineering, the Bene Tleilaxu is responsible for resurrecting Jason Momoa's Duncan Idaho. They bring him back as a ghola, a clone made from the cells of a corpse.
- The trailer also features the return of key cast members, including Zendaya, Javier Bardem, Rebecca Ferguson, and Florence Pugh.
- Dune: Part Three will follow the events of Dune: Part Two, based on Frank Herbert's Dune Messiah, with Paul Atreides dealing with the consequences of his ruthless rise to power.
