Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle BJ Hill stood bodyguard at the locker of teammate Joseph Ossai during a post-AFC title game media scrum.
Ossai was an understandable focal point of the post-game coverage given his roughing-the-passer penalty of Patrick Mahomes that put the Chiefs in position to kick the game-winning field goal.
As reporters stood around Ossai’s locker to ask the expected questions, Hill stood there too in support, at one point swatting away a few questions he found unacceptable in that moment.
Cleveland.com’s Michael Niziolek provided video of the touching moment, with Hill himself later commenting on it on Twitter:
One thing about me I’ll always have my brothas back! People asking stupid ass question got to do better! https://t.co/Oxcpryg4VP

It’s a little thing, but more proof of the idea fans consistently hear about how close-knit the locker room is at all times.
