With Garrett Bradbury out on Saturday afternoon against the New York Giants, the Minnesota Vikings have a contingency plan in place as they chose to activate IOL Kyle Hinton.
A seventh-round pick out of division two Washburn in 2020 Hinton was a left tackle in college but his size limitations standing at a shade under 6’3″. He has bulked up to 310 lbs over the course of his time in the NFL after being around 285 coming out of college.
Hinton has yet to play a snap in NFL game but he has the athletic profile to be successful. With how head coach Kevin O’Connell has played his offensive lineman this season, Hinton won’t see a snap on offense but will likely see some on special teams.
