USC, UCLA trading touchdowns in wild game at Rose Bowl

Just when it appeared UCLA was in charge, USC roared back Saturday at the Rose Bowl.

Then when the Trojans built a double-digit lead, the Bruins said not so fast.

There was a slobberknocker underway in the second half of the battle for the Victory Bell in Pac-12 play.

The Trojans had three drives after halftime and scored a touchdown on each.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson wasn’t about to let the Bruins be counted out.

Trailing 41-31, he threw a 55-yard TD pass to Kazmeir Allen less than a minute into the fourth quarter.

The Trojans led 41-38 in a wild one in the West.

Then USC got the ball and made it 4-for-4 on drive in the second half with another TD.

The Bruins countered as Thompson-Robinson found Ezeike for their third scoring combination in the game,

With a little less than 7 minutes left, the Trojans led 48-45.
