Two new Love Island bombshells to enter villa after surprise dumping twist

Love Island saw the first dumping of this year's series finally happen on Monday night, with two new bombshells set to arrive to shake things up.

The villa bid farewell to Afia Tonkmor during the first episode of the week, after new boy Jacques O'Neill opted to couple up with Paige Thorne over her.

As the episode drew to a close - with Islanders waving Afia off - the drama continued when it was revealed to viewers that two new male bombshells are heading onto the ITV2 show to shake things up.

Jay Younger, 28, and Remi Lambert, 22, have both pledged keep things entertaining on screen, ahead of their debut appearance inside the villa.

"I think I genuinely have what most females want," Investment Analyst Jay boasted before heading in meet the other Islanders.

The Scottish hunk continued: "I’ve got a good job, I think I am a good looking lad and I have a lot of fun so I feel like I could add a lot of value to their lives if they add a lot of value to mine."

Remi, a model from Manchester, admitted he was inspired by a famous Love Island couple to go on the ITV2 show.

"I am single AF," the latest bombshell confessed when quizzed about why he signed up for the dating reality TV show.

"When I saw Molly [Mae Hague] and Tommy [Fury] and saw how strong they are together, I thought ‘I want a love like that.'"

Monday night's episode of Love Island saw a savage twist see Afia packing her bags and leaving the villa.

The now-axed Islander and Paige soon learned they were both at risk of leaving, unaware a 'recoupling' was looming.

Ultimately, Jacques decided he wanted to pair up with Paige, and this meant she was saved but Afia was still single and heading home.

Speaking after the axe, Afia remained hopeful of still finding love despite not having much luck in the villa.

"Obviously I’m going to miss everyone in the Villa but I’m going to keep trying to find love. I’m sure Mr Right is out there somewhere," the former Islander hopefully mused.

"I’ve learned that I can be a bit shy and it takes me a bit of time to come out of my shell. But I maybe learned to put myself out there a bit more. I did learn a few things."

Afia also tipped who she thinks could go all the way and take home the £50,000 prize fund.

"Luca and Gemma. And Amber and Dami. It’s such early days but those two felt like the most solid couples," she predicted when discussing who could be crowned champions later this summer.

*Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
