The Cleveland Browns already have an issue with second round pick and defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. after he was arrested for a horrific domestic violence disturbance at his home on Monday night.
In the incident, Hall Jr. is reported to have hit his fiance with a baby bottle, thrown all of her belongings into the yard, dragged her down the driveway by her legs, and even pointed a gun at her head.
After turning himself into the police, Hall Jr. was officially booked and charged with misdemeanor domestic violence. He was released on $10,000 bond and has a court date set for September 10.
The Browns have since released a statement that they know the situation and are gathering as much information as possible. It would seem likely, however, that Hall Jr. does not get out of this with at least a hefty suspension. And if the Browns find that all of the reported information is true, they have the grounds to cut their second round pick as well.
