Ricky Gervais will perform his new stand-up show, Armageddon, in Cardiff next January for a bonus show. The Office and Afterlife creator has added an extra date due to phenomenal demand. Gervais was initially only due to perform for fans this week, on Thursday, December 15 but now for those who missed out - or maybe want to see him again - he's back in Wales at the Cardiff International Arena on Wednesday, January 1, 2023.
Tickets for the new date will go on sale this Friday, December 16, at 10am though if you have O2 Priority access, you'll be able to get them from Wednesday, December 14. Tickets will be on sale from Ticketmaster.
The shows, which are for age 16 and over, see Ricky back on tour once more after his Supernature tour in 2019 and his global smash on Netflix, Humanity. In the past couple of years he's also gained more fans for his tragi-comedy on Netflix, After Life - in which he plays a widow going about life after his wife dies of cancer.

More dates were added to the Armageddon tour in Glasgow, Bournemouth and York as the comedian is due to take the show around the UK and the world way into 2024. Cardiff has some brilliant names from comedy visiting in 2023 as well as Ricky Gervais including Mo Gilligan, Peter Kay and Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe are bringing their Parenting Hell podcast to the CIA, too.
