Police arrest third man suspected of murdering footballer Cody Fisher in night club

A third man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of footballer Cody Fisher, who was stabbed to death in a Birmingham nightclub on Boxing Day.

The 22-year-old suspect was held in London just before 3am on Thursday and would be questioned over the killing of Cody, West Midlands Police said.

Cody was was stabbed on the dance floor of the Crane nightclub on Adderley Street in Digbeth just before midnight on 26 December.
