Noel Gallagher is reportedly leaning on his long-term pal Kate Moss following his marriage split.
Supermodel Kate, 49, has been 'counselling' the former Oasis singer, 55, after he announced that his marriage with wife Sara MacDonald had come to an end after 22 years together.
The Wonderwall singer is believed to have moved out of their Hampshire home and is currently living alone in North London following the split.
Fans of the newly-single star are hoping the split could prompt a long-awaited Oasis reunion, with it previously reported Sara's strained relationship with brother-in-law Liam Gallagher was a major factor in the band's 2009 split.
A representative for the former couple told the Mirror this evening: "Noel and Sara will continue to look after their children who remain the priority.
"They ask the media to respect their privacy and that of our family at this time."
Following the split, Noel is reportedly spending time with pals, including Kate.
“After his split from Sara was made public, friends from Noel’s Primrose Hill set have been rallying around. Kate has been divorced and has been in touch," a source told The Sun.
“While they’re not out partying all night any more, they remain friends and she has reached out," they added.
Kate and Noel have been close friends for over 30-years, after they first met during the height of Oasis' fame.
Meanwhile, former couple Noel and Sara first met back in 2000 when the Mancunian singer chatted up Sara at Ibiza club Space.
They briefly split two years later, amid reports Sara found Noel 'too childish' to wed and have more kids, but went on to reunite and welcome two children into the world together.
The former couple exchanged marriage vows in 2011 at the Lime Wood Hotel in Hampshire — with Noel's brother Liam missing out on an invite.
Sara, 51, gave birth to their first son Donovan in 2007, followed by their second child Sonny in 2010.
The Mirror has reached out to Noel's representatives for comment.
