Man dies after two-car crash on busy Mansfield road

A 77-year-old man has died following a crash in Nottinghamshire. The emergency services were called to Rosemary Street, Mansfield, at 9.53am on Wednesday, August 10, after reports of a crash involving two vehicles.

The driver of one of the vehicles, John Foster, of Mansfield, was taken to hospital but died on Friday, August, 26. Nottinghamshire Police called it "an incredibly sad time."

Sergeant Mark Baker, of Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “A man has tragically lost his life following this incident and our specially trained officers are working to offer his family support at this incredibly sad time. Our thoughts remain with the family and friends who have asked for their privacy to be respected.
