Marks and Spencer is bringing back one of their "most popular" meal deals, but shoppers will have to be quick as it won't be on sale for long.
For two weeks only, customers can get their hands on two succulent steaks, paired with fluffy chips and sauce of their choosing, all for just £10. The retailer is known for its many dine in options and as food prices rise, they have raised the stakes with their latest bargain, available in store until March 14.
All steaks are matured for a minimum of 21 days and come in a selection of cuts, including a marbled Ribeye, a firm and flavoursome Rump or a tender Sirloin. For those not keen on red meat, there’s also a whole rotisserie chicken on offer as well as salmon fillets so no one has to miss out.
Regarding the sides, shoppers can pick between traditional Chunky Chips, thinner Frites, mash, or sweet potato fries. Instead of spuds, there are plenty of sides to pick including creamed spinach to layered peas, carrots, sweetcorn and broccoli, all topped off with your favourite sauce.
M&S took to Instagram to announce the offer and those who have already tried it were filled with compliments. One happy customer commented: "Just had the sirloin Diane sauce and frites absolutely delicious steak melt in the mouth and the frites fluffy and crunchy.
"Made my Friday night thanks M and S same time and place next week."
"I just cooked the rib eye steaks and they were delicious with the peppercorn sauce and spinach Such a great deal," wrote another.
Others couldn't help but commend M&S for the deal's price. One comment read: "Wow great value," while another said: "Brilliantly done M&S."
This week Marks and Spencer also launched a seasonal sandwich that left some shoppers scratching their heads. The BLT hot cross bun is made of a cheesy version of the Easter treat, which is filled with maple cured bacon, semi-dried tomatoes".
