Kylian Mbappe was asked whether he'd prefer a transfer to Liverpool or Real Madrid when appearing at a charity event earlier this week.
The France international has repeatedly been linked with both clubs in recent years and had been expected to complete a move to the Bernabeu last season ahead of his Paris Saint-Germain contract expiring. However, he surprisingly ended up signing a new extension during the summer.
But despite the new deal, recent reports have suggested the forward's relationship with PSG has broken down and he is again looking to leave the club.

Away from the pitch, the 23-year-old has been focussing on philanthropy and recently launched the initiative 'Inspired by KM', which has been set up to help children in his native Paris fulfil their dreams. According to French outlet RMC Sport, Mbappe attended an event this week to launch the campaign.
And it was at this charity event when he was asked whether he would prefer to sign for Liverpool or Real Madrid. Unsurprisingly, the forward remained tight-lipped.
RMC report that he, 'displayed a broad smile' in response to the question, before passing the microphone to famous comedian Jamel Debbouze. The question prompted the organiser to remind attendees that he would not answer questions about his future.
But that didn't stop Mbappe from hinting that he could be looking to leave PSG as he targets winning a second World Cup next month in Qatar. "For now, a second World Cup," he said when talking about his short terms goals. "After that, I don't know."
Rather that committing his future to PSG or using the opportunity to dismiss such speculation linking him with Liverpool, his cryptic response will no doubt set tongues wagging once again with such transfer speculation showing no signs of disappearing anytime soon.
