Jurgen Klopp contract latest as FSG target new Liverpool deal

Liverpool are hopeful of agreeing a new contract with Jurgen Klopp to extend his stay at the club beyond 2024.

It is understood the Reds boss has suggested he would be open to a further deal at Anfield, where he has been in charge since October 2015.

Mike Gordon, the president of Fenway Sports Group and influential in the running of the club, was at Wednesday's Champions League semi-final leg against Villarreal, where he was sat near Klopp's agent Mark Kosicke.
