Jota is edging closer towards his departure from Celtic after he agreed personal terms with Al-Ittihad according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Hoops hero is one step closer to completing a £25million switch to the Saudi Premier League outfit. Jota would team up with Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante at the current champions, managed by fellow Portuguese Nuno Espirito Santo.
The deal would see Jota earn life changing money with the winger reportedly set to earn a £10million per year tax free salary with Celtic set to pocked a huge sum after giving Benfica a slice of the sell-on fee. The move would boost Brendan Rodgers transfer plans but Celtic fans will be gutted to see one of their star men go.

Transfer guru Romana tweeted early on Saturday morning: "Understand Al Ittihad have reached full agreement on personal terms with Celtic star Jota. He has accepted the contract proposal.

Jota sealed a move to Parkhead after impressing on loan from Benfica in Ange Postecolgou's first season in charge. Celtic then secured the services of the tricky attacker as Postecoglou signed him up in a deal worth £6million. Jota netted 15 goals and 12 assists in all competitions as the Hoops marched onto a treble.
The Portuguese quickly became a fans favourite after netting some crucial goals. A cheeky chip in a 4-0 mauling of Rangers set up a prolific season. Jota also netted in a vital 3-2 win at Parkhead before scoring the winner in the Scottish Cup semi-final against Michael Beale's men.
