ITV Love Island viewers issue desperate plea to bosses to make change

We're now a week into the eighth series of Love Island and fans of the show have renewed their pleas to bosses in a bid for them to make what will be a crucial change for their viewing enjoyment. The latest episode of the ITV2 dating show aired on Monday night (June 13).

It saw a bit of tension between Luca Bish and Andrew Le Page over the arrival of Gemma Owen's ex, Jacques O'Neill, as well as a surprise recoupling that saw the first Islander dumped from the famous villa. Time was up for bombshell Afia Tonkmor who had to pack her stuff an leave following a recoupling twist.

All of the Islanders were told to gather around the fire pit with two girls at risk of being axed from the show and after Liam Llewellyn quit the series just days in, Afia became the second exit of the series without any warning.

Afia got a text that read: "Afia and Paige, you are both single. Please stand in the front of the fire pit," and then newbie Jacques learned the power was in his hands, and it would be up to him to choose out of Paige and Afia who stayed and who left.

Meanwhile, Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu decided to forget about telling Jacques she was interested in him in order show Davide Sanclimenti how she really felt as she seduced him on the outdoor sofa. After she coyly asked him if he had ever tasted Turkish Delight, he replied no - to which she replied: "You've got me."

Asked what Turkish Delight was, she said: "It's sweet and you bite into it and it's very tasty." The Italian business owner, who lives in Manchester, grinned and moved over to her side as she teased: "It's getting a bit heated in here." Davide then lunged in for a kiss, with the pair going fully in with the smooch.

Once they were finally able to unlock lips, Ekin-Su asked how it tasted to which Davide again grinned and replied: "Like a Turkish desert." But the scenes left Love Island viewers demanding show bosses immediately make changes.

@hharrysw***e tweeted: "producers… TURN THE MICS OFF WHILE KISSING IS GOING ON #LoveIsland." @ungodlywests begged: "PLEASE GOD TURN THEIR MICS DOWN #loveisland." @AmberPollux shared: "petition to get the love island producers to turn the mics off during a kiss #loveisland."

@katyhu1me said: "Will never understand why they turn up the mics for kisses like I DONT WANT TO HEAR IT #LoveIsland." @AnnaSiddall5 wrote: "LOVE ISLAND WE ARE ON SEASON 8 AND YOU STILL DO NOT TURN THE MICS DOWN WHEN THEY ARE KISSING #LoveIsland."

And it wasn't the first time as Sunday night's episode saw the first of Ekin-Su and Davide's racy kissing sessions following the first re-coupling that saw them finally unite after Luca Bish chose to couple up with Gemma Owen.
