'Incredible desire', Newcastle have gone from fearing Liverpool to relishing challenge under Eddie Howe

Eddie Howe Newcastle Jurgen Klopp Liverpool

Newcastle United couldn't be in a much better place to face quadruple hunting Liverpool this weekend.

There's no doubt it will be the toughest fixture of the season for Eddie Howe's men as they face up to a Liverpool side that last lost a Premier League game way back in December at Leicester City. Since then only Serie A champions Inter Milan managed to beat the Reds over 90 minutes but failed over two legs in the Champions League.

But with the game coming hot on the heels of Liverpool's Champions League victory over Villarreal only on Wednesday night, this is probably the best time you could face Jurgen Klopp's men. Although, Howe has been focusing on the haves rather than the have nots in training this week.
