IMD Weather Update Today: Delhi-NCR woke up to a cloudy and humid morning on Tuesday, raising hopes of relief from the intense heat that has gripped the region for days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light rain, thunderstorms, dust storms and gusty winds across parts of Delhi-NCR as the southwest monsoon continues its steady advance toward northern India.

The weather department has also issued alerts for several states, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Kerala and West Bengal, warning of heavy rainfall, lightning and strong winds over the coming days.
