A dad has told how he had to have eight fingers amputated after a horrific accident with a metal rolling machine leaving him unable to hold his newborn baby.
Dean Delahaye, 35, of Barnstaple, Devon, said that when he dreams he is still able bodied but then wakes up to the reality that he now needs 24 hour care.
And he is unable to pick up or feed his daughter, who was born after the incident.
