Up to four pub-goers were seriously injured after a brawl broke out on Boxing Day.
Cheshire Police said officers were called to a “disturbance” at Alchemy bar on High Street in Runcorn at around 12.17am on Tuesday, December 27. A force spokeswoman said up to four people were “seriously injured”, though all are recovering at home.
Investigators arrested two men aged 47 and 38 and released them on conditional bail, and a third man aged 35 was arrested and later released without charge. Detectives have urged witnesses to come forward.

DC Paul Cullen said: “There were a number of people in the pub at the time who will have witnessed the fight but have yet to come forward.
“I would urge anyone with information about this incident, but has not yet spoken to police, to contact us.”
