Ben Nevis climber airlifted to hospital with broken leg after horror fall on snowy mountain

Ben Nevis Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team

A climber has been airlifted to hospital after breaking their leg during a horror fall on Ben Nevis.

Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team were called to help the stricken person on Tuesday after they became seriously injured on Comb Gully.

The casualty was packaged up onto a stretcher and moved further down the mountain where they were plucked to safety by a Coastguard rescue helicopter.
