Pereira outlines transfer plans
Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira has revealed that he wants to seal a permanent switch to Brazilian outfit Flamengo amid ongoing reports linking him with a move to Fulham.
Pereira, who has 12 months to run on his contract at Old Trafford, has spent the duration of this campaign on loan at Flamengo after returning to his homeland last August. The midfielder made an encouraging start to life there, but his costly error in their Copa Libertadores final defeat to Palmeiras meant that many supporters - plus individuals within the club - changed their outlook on him.
Despite that, he racked up an impressive 53 appearances during his time with Flamengo, scoring eight goals.

Fernandes shares United target
Bruno Fernandes has vowed that Manchester United will be doing everything in their power to kick-off life under Erik ten Hag by ending their trophy hoodoo. It has been five years since the Old Trafford giants last got their hands on any silverware and nine seasons have passed since their last Premier League triumph.
That means Fernandes - who signed for United from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020 - has yet to win a trophy on these shores. The 27-year-old is set to return to pre-season training at Carrington on Morning morning, before the club's summer tour to Thailand, Australia and Norway.
It will be the Portugal star's first introduction to Ten Hag and the newly-appointed manager has already got down to business on the training ground and in the transfer market. As part of a summer rebuild, agreements in principle to sign Tyrell Malacia and Barcelona playmaker Frenkie de Jong are in place.
