The No. 42 over the course of Cincinnati Bengals has had some interesting names fans might recognize.
There was the brief BenJarvus Green-Ellis era in 2012. Safety Chris Croker played a memorable role in some solid Bengals defenses starting in 2008. And older fans might remember running back Boobie Clark, who from 1973-1978 rushed for 2,978 yards and 25 scores, averaging 3.8 yards per attempt and playing a key role in some strong teams.
