A prolonged conflict in West Asia is making it harder for companies to manage costs as volatility in commodity prices, freight rates and currencies disrupts planning. Firms including AWL, Parle, Blue Star, ITC, Tata Consumer Products and Dabur warned of margin pressure, further price hikes and weaker discretionary demand.
