India's largest airline IndiGo expects India's aviation market to remain on a strong long-term growth trajectory despite geopolitical tensions, volatile fuel prices and currency fluctuations, saying rising incomes, urbanisation and an aggressive international expansion strategy will drive its next phase of growth.
In its FY26 annual report, the airline identified conflicts in West Asia and broader macroeconomic uncertainties as the biggest near-term risks to the sector, while maintaining that the structural drivers of demand remain firmly intact.
