After four years on Ducati machinery across Avintia and Pramac teams, Zarco has joined LCR in 2024 in a two-year deal signed directly with Honda Racing Corporation (HRC).

The RC213V Honda first debuted in 2012 was gradually overhauled according to the requirements of Marquez, who made a starring debut with the Japanese manufacturer almost 11 years ago.

All rides are now confirmed for the 2024 MotoGP season, with seven teams changing its line-up. 

With 21 points splitting Bagnaia and Martin coming into this weekend's finale in Valencia, the former could have won the championship in the sprint by outscoring his rival by at least four points.

Honda has already gone through a number of personnel changes, with former technical manager Takeo Yokoyama being replaced by ex-Suzuki technical chief Ken Kawauchi.
