Rovanpera produced arguably his most crushing WRC victory of his career to date to defeat Hyundai’s Thierry Neuville by 46.5s on Estonia’s fast gravel roads.

Hyundai driver Neuville produced head turning speed on the fast gravel roads to leap into a 6.8s lead over championship leader Kalle Rovanpera, having started the day sitting fourth overall.

The eight-time world champion came through challenging damp and muddy conditions to preserve his lead, although Ogier's overnight advantage over championship leader Rovanpera was cut by 0.7s to 22.1s.

The Penrite-backed team made a strong start to the Gen3 era, lead driver Reynolds scoring a pole and podium in Newcastle, followed by another podium in Perth.
