In its annual measurement of American adults’ confidence in mass media, Gallup found only 28 percent of respondents said they had at least a fair amount of trust in the press.

Trust in media has never been lower, Gallup says. A shocking 70% of U.S. adults have “not very much” confidence or “none at all” in what they see and hear.
