The Fresh Kills Park project in New York City has brilliantly repurposed a former landfill into a stunning 2,200-acre public park. Initiated through a design competition in 2001, Field Operations was chosen to spearhead this ambitious transformation. With engineered layers securing the waste, new plant life is able to flourish.
