Who else thought big, beautiful machines such as this new Mercedes-Benz would go the way of the dinosaurs? Technology is fighting back, albeit for a few years.

The 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro is expensive. The high-performance coupe has a starting price of $197,050, including the $1,150 destination charge. That’s nearly $17,000 more than the standard GT63, but the Pro adds tons of track-oriented goodies to justify the price difference.

Update: AMG has since confirmed to Motor1 that the new AMG C63 will, in fact, not get a V-8 engine, contrary to previous reporting. Other AMG models will still get the new V-8, but it's unclear what the company has planned for its updated C63.
