What was the best school trip you remember from growing up in Greater Manchester?

From the Granada Studios Tour to Jodrell Bank, Martin Mere, Camelot, Chester Zoo and more - there are many school trips we all remember from growing up in Greater Manchester.

It doesn't matter where you're from or how old you are, we all remember the excitement of getting out of lessons for the day, taking a packed lunch and making memories with our classmates. Some school trips may have been more popular depending on the era you grew up in.

But a number of attractions have changed or are no longer around and only live on in our fond memories or photographs. As adults, you may have noticed school trips are getting better and better as the years go by.

Nowadays, some pupils are flying across the world as far as New York and South Africa. Whereas for some, a trip to the museum or to see a local play meant taking just the afternoon out of lessons.
