West Lothian paused to pay tribute to fallen heroes during events to mark Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday.
Services and events were held around the county, including in Bathgate and Armadale.
Wreaths were laid at war memorials as war veterans joined people young and old to stop and remember their sacrifices.
A two minute silence was also held at 11am on Friday to mark the day and hour the guns fell silent and World War Two One ended.
We'll have more pictures in this Thursday's Courier.
