The life of a public figure is often a very interesting one. Many times, doing normal things can turn into a paparazzi-like event with everyone’s cell phones out. On the other hand, especially for professional athletes, fame often comes with a significant income and the adoration of fans.
For Cleveland Browns guard Wyatt Teller, the rise to stardom took some bumpy roads including being traded by the team that drafted him just a year later. While the Buffalo Bills may be kicking themselves for moving on from Teller, then-GM John Dorsey made a shrewd trade.
Current GM Andrew Berry then gave Teller a huge contract extension in 2021. That money hasn’t stopped the former Virginia Tech Hokie from mingling with fans. The below video came as Teller saw someone wearing his jersey during “Spring Jam.” Instead of watching from above and noting it to his friends and family, Teller went out of his way to talk to the guy:

The explanation makes it even better as a coach gets to thank Teller for giving him someone to help model his players after.
Whether it is carrying an alligator on his back, pancaking defenders into the ground or the above video, the Browns offensive lineman has drawn a lot of love from fans over the last couple of seasons in Cleveland. Here is hoping his legacy includes hoisting the Lombardi Trophy at some point as well.
