Dwyane Wade has said he stopped laughing at certain NBA locker-room jokes and began walking away from conversations as his family privately navigated daughter Zaya Wade's gender identity before she publicly came out as transgender.

The Basketball Hall of Famer opened up about the change during an appearance on Cameron Oaks Rogers' Conversations With Cam podcast, saying he gradually started hearing familiar locker-room language differently.
