Trump Will Not Golf Again Until After Election As Federal Agents Unable to Ensure His Safety: Report

Since his second assassination attempt on Sep. 15, former President Donald Trump hasn't been able to play a round of golf, and it appears that will not be changing anytime soon.

Sometime last month, the Republican presidential nominee asked the Acting Director of the Secret Service Ronald Rowe whether he can safely play golf. He most likely received the answer he didn't want to hear, which is that his safety can't be guaranteed unless additional security was provided since some of his courses are near public roads, The New York Times reported.

If Trump doesn't hit the links until Election Day on Nov. 5, that will mark 51 days. It would be the longest time the former president has spent off the green since the pandemic, The New York Times reported. That's most undesirable for a president who allegedly spent over 260 golfing during his term.

Trump has reportedly golfed at least once a week at one of his 18 golf courses around the world since leaving the White House in 2020.
