Bébé Bob x Mr Lyan Studios
The trend of high-low dining gets a shot in the arm as Bébé Bob teams up with Ryan Chetiyawardana, the celebrated bartender behind Lyaness and Seed Library, to launch a new cocktail and snack menu. The food is led by “schnuggets”, a chicken schnitzel nugget served with caviar, alongside drinks from Chetiyawardana including a one-sip martini and a “Frites Royal” made with liqueur de pomme frites and Champagne.

Burger & Beyond x Laurent Dagenais
Social star Laurent Dagenais has been gracing our FYPs on TikTok for the past few years and now, to help launch his cookbook, his Beyond Burger collab finally comes to town. Three dishes make the collaboration: a pineapple and chilli butter fried chicken burger; a steak tostada with shoestring fries; and clotted cream ice cream. With nearly two million followers, expect this one to be busy.

Chino’s at Naughty Piglets
Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Chino cut his teeth in the Michelin-starred restaurants of the Basque country and the south of France, training under the likes of Mauro Colagreco and Fernando Trocca. His Naughty Piglets residency brings an “Argentinian tavern” to Brixton, with dishes including monkfish tail in gochujang butter, it looks a winner. Naughty Piglets are currently rotating chefs every five weeks or so, so watch this space for more.

7th Street Burger x Truffle Burger
London’s love of smash burgers shows no sign of slowing down with NYC’s 7th Street Burger popping up in London for just four days. It’s taking over the Truffle Burger site in Soho, making just 500 burgers each day. One to arrive early at, as the first 50 people in the queue will get a freebie.

107 Wine Shop and Bar x Julie Hetyei
Julie Hetyei has just completed a residency at Dina’s (see below for what’s next) and has wasted no time in heading to 107 (formerly P Franco) for a residency, which looks as though it’s lasting till early 2025. First night is September 5, with 107 describing the menu as “frequently changing” and “modern, rural French”. A cracking reason to walk by Clapton.

Naz Hassan x Dina
Most recently, Naz Hassan has been on the hobs at Carousel, The Sea The Sea and Oranj, and this new residency is a short stint at Leytonstone wine bar Dina. His most recent pop-ups have seen dishes include a lobster claw gholi bhaji and halibut in fig leaf pathuri with kala daal. Italian and Benghali combinations of the most interesting variety, in other words.

Restaurant Story x AIRA
Tommy Myllymäki, the chef from the two Michelin-starred Aira in Stockholm lands in London this September for a special four-hands dinner with Tom Phillips, who helms the hobs at Restaurant Story, alongside Tom Sellers. The pair are putting on an eight-course showstopper of a menu, which reads like a checklist for modern fine dining. A welcome broth; squid with oyster emulsion and caviar; scallop quenelle with king crab; and monkfish with roasted chicken emulsion, ceps and juniper dashi all feature.

Aulis x NIJŪ
Aulis, the Michelin-starred chefs counter in Soho, is teaming up with Japanese restaurant NIJŪ (previously the short-lived 20 Berkeley) for a four-hands dinner this month, with chefs Chris Golding and Charlie Tayler collaborating on a special tasting menu, set to include a truffle pudding with caramelised birch, and A4 wagyu "tournedos rossini" with black truffle and foie gras.

Carousel's {PAIRED} at Tate Modern
The Corner at Tate Modern will host what’s described as a “multi-disciplinary feast” this month, with DJ Gilles Peterson chef Yoji Tokuyoshi collaborating on an immersive dinner to remember. Split over five courses, guests are set to experience food and music in harmony, with specially created sounds and complimentary tastes designed to enchant the senses.

2024 British Street Food Awards
The British Street Food Awards return this month with free tickets for guests guaranteeing entry and a vote for your favourite vendor. Finalists include Planet G, plant-based chef who has created a vegan haggis, and Pasta A Mano, the pop-up “pastaria” from Wales who mix and make the pasta on-site using local cockles and organic Pembrokeshire tomatoes in their vongole.

Vintage sardines are normally the sort of thing that cause a health warning but PYSCIS are the tinned fish brand specialising in such highly prized seafood. July, the Alsatian wine bar and restaurant in Fitzrovia, hosts the tinned fish company with the father and daughter duo behind PYSCIS introducing six limited edition tins paired with natural wines.

Pies galore at Cut at 45 Park Lane, with Calum Franklin collaborating with Cut chef Elliott Grover on a brand new menu. Dishes will include the Scotch egg from Franklin's new Parisian outpost, The Public House, alongside the likes of Wolfgang Puck’s trio of mini pies which include, among others, king prawn curry puffs.
