A teenage boy has been charged over the false imprisonment and sexual assault of a female jogger.
The 13-year-old, from Rowville in Melbourne's southeast, was charged over the alleged attack of a woman on the Dandenong Creek Trail in January.
Victoria Police say the 28-year-old female was running along the trail on 31 January when she was sexually assaulted.
She managed to fight off the offender who fled the scene on his bike.
The boy was charged with stalking, assault with intent to sexual assault, false imprisonment and sexual assault.
He appeared before an out of sessions court hearing on the weekend, where he was bailed to appear at a children's court at a later date.
