Strictly Come Dancing pro Nadiya Bychkova gushed over her celebrity dance partner Matt Goss on Sunday night, as the pair left the competition after the dreaded dance-off.
Nadiya appeared to squash any claims of a 'feud' after recent claims the pairing did not get along, and that there was "friction" between them.
Matt and his pro partner found themselves in the bottom tw o with Coronation Street star Kym Marsh, who was forced to dance again with her pro partner Graziano Di Prima.
But as the judges voted to send one couple home, Kym, and Graziano were saved meaning Matt and Nadiya had to leave then and there.
Nadiya shared her thoughts over their early exit, and heaped praise on the Bros singer as she spoke of getting to know the real Matt.
She said: "First I’m so grateful that I got to teach and dance with a music icon.
"But, more important than this, I got the privilege to get to know Matt, for who you really are. Not many people know you and you’re a beautiful soul, very kind human and a real gentleman."
Her partner Matt was quick to praise her too, as well as the judges for their feedback as he discussed his time on the show.
Matt said: "It’s an extraordinary experience, I have been in America for 25 years. Thank you judges for your candour, you’ve helped me in many ways, my posture – Anton, I am more aware of it.
"This lovely lady beside me, a world champion with all the patience. I am very honoured to have danced with you, and everyone who is still in, I love you guys, go smash it guys."
Meanwhile, many fans could not hide their surprise that Kym was the celebrity dancing against Matt in the dance-off, expecting it to be someone else.
Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "Sorry Matt has gone, he and Kym did not deserve to be in dance off."
Another viewer tweeted: "That's who I thought would go this week. Surprised that Kym was in the bottom two however, as she danced well."
A third added: "I'm so shocked about the dance off! I could Cry! But thankfully the right person was dropped," as a fourth agreed: "Christ didn’t expect that couple to be in the dance off??? right decision though completely."
This was backed by another viewer who wrote: "The right person went definitely but shocked about the other person in the dance off."
Strictly Come Dancing continues next Saturday at 6:40pm for its BBC 100 Special on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with the result at 6:45pm on Sunday.
