Squalane, Jojoba or Rosehip: Which Facial Oil Works in Indian Summer Heat

Why Facial Oils Behave Differently in Humidity

Skin produces more sebum when temperatures rise. Add 70 to 90 percent relative humidity, standard across coastal and central India from April through September, and the skin's surface is already saturated with its own lipids before you apply anything. A facial oil layered on top of that either integrates into the barrier or sits on it. The difference comes down to molecular size and how closely the oil's fatty acid profile matches the skin's own sebum.
