A Southwest Airlines passenger says she was threatened with removal from a flight after she moved to an empty seat before takeoff, even though the row she moved to had no one sitting in it. The passenger, who posts under the name Niki_Nik (@niki_nik20) on TikTok, filmed the exchange with a Southwest employee and shared it online.
The video has been viewed 29.7 million times and has received 1.6 million likes and 24,800 comments. In the video, a Southwest employee in a red polo shirt asks to see her boarding pass, confirms she is assigned to seat 30E, and tells her she has to sit in that seat.
