Sam Ryder will light up Newcastle’s O2 City Hall on Thursday evening as part of his anticipated UK tour.
The Spaceman singer has become a household name in the year since his outstanding success at Eurovision.
The singer represented the United Kingdom and stormed the leaderboard to finish in second place. Ukraine’s entry, Kalush Orchestra, won the contest with a whopping 631 points.
Sam has enjoyed soaring success since, releasing his debut album, going on tour, playing with Queen and also playing for the Queen at the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. So if you’re heading to see the star tonight, here’s everything you need to know.

When and where is Sam Ryder playing in Newcastle?
Sam will play at Newcastle’s O2 City Hall tonight (Thursday, March 23). The gig is part of a 14-date tour across the UK over March and April.
Are there still tickets available for Sam Ryder in Newcastle?
If you were on the fence or didn’t know that Sam was in town, you’re in luck as, at the time of writing, there are a few tickets still available. There are standing tickets in the stalls for £26.55 each.
There are resale tickets available for the majority of sections on Twickets, an approved fan-to-fan resale site. Tickets sold via Twickets are secure, with payment and delivery agreed upon upfront.
Who are the support acts?
Sam will be supported by Tors and Charlotte Jane. Tors are a three-piece harmonic indie band from Devon - comprised of brothers Matt and Theo Weedon and Jack Bowden- while Charlotte Jane is a singer-songwriter from Hull.
What time does the gig start and finish?
Doors open at 7pm this evening with Sam expected to take to the state at around 9pm. Previous dates on the tour have wrapped up at around 10.30pm though these timings are subject to change and can vary date-by-date.

For those who like to be prepared, we found the setlist from previous dates on the tour. In Manchester, Sam played 16 tracks for what the Manchester Evening News said was a set filled with “glamorous rockstar energy”.
